Are you looking for a place to get away from your computer, the fax machine, telephones ringing and traffic? At the Shack, in Jugville, Michigan, we do things the old fashioned way with a personal touch. While there is a computer in the office, Innkeeper and owner, Marv Deur still keeps his reservations in a hand written guest book calendar.

Marv says, "If I am offering my guests peace and solitude away from the technology that encompasses our lives then I want to lead by example."

Whether you enjoy a view of the lighthouse and the lake, the flower gardens, the O' Hay Coral, Museum, the Whoa-Z-Bo, the covered bridge and outdoor chapel or enjoy a walk on the trails through the woods you will find natural beauty and enjoy a peaceful visit in Juggville, USA.

Quiet time starts at 10:30. Leave your pets at home. Children are welcome but not encouraged.

Choices, Choices. A Back View Room? A Lake View Room? A Hot Tub Room or a Hot Tub Room with a Fireplace?
 
Looking for accommodations? What is your desire? A back view room with a log rocker to sit in? A room with a lake view, a couple of rockers and two beds? Or would you prefer a lake view room with a hot tub to soak in by candlelight? You can take it one step farther and enjoy a hot tub room to sooth your senses that also has a fireplace to warm your toes!
 
The staff at the Shack are waiting to receive a call from you. Each one of our rooms are unique; no two are the same. We find that if we talk on the telephone we can offer you the best choices to meet the needs of your stay at our bed and breakfast.

 
There is so much to see and do at the Shack at a relaxing pace.
